CAMDEN Accessible Playground


Those listed below were a major part of getting CAMDEN Accessible Playground build. They were some of the first members of CAMDEN Foundation, Inc. and worked vigorously to get it built. They will forever be CAMDEN's Angels and remembered for their kindness, love, and devotion to getting this project built.

Grace Anesey, 83, passed away on June 8, 1993. She was one of the original members of CAMDEN Fdtn, Inc. and,
with her husband, Romaine, owned Hilltop Flower Farm, Milton, WI.

JAMES C. NOLL

Jim Noll, 79, of Janesville, WI passed away on Monday, March 27, 2006. Jim was one of the original members of
CAMDEN Fdtn., Inc and was retired from Best Built Garage Builders. Jim gave the first donation to CAMDEN
Accessible Playground in memory of his wife, Delores.

MERLIN C. NUNDAHL

Merlin C. Nundahl, 76, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 in Mercy Hospital, Janesville, WI.
Merlin was one of the original members of CAMDEN Fdtn, Inc. and the Principal of Burdge and Morgan
Elementary Schools in Beloit, WI.

EDWARD J. KNUTSON

Edward J. Knutson, age 83, of Milton, passed away on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012. Edward was one of the original
CAMDEN Board Members joining because of his Grandson, Camden. He was retired from General Motors,
Janesville, WI.

Joan M. Deneen, age 60, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2012. She was an original CAMDEN Board
Member and a Special Education Teacher at Parker Sr. High School.

Donald A. Russell, 93, passed away on October 24, 2020. Donald was an original Board Member of
CAMDEN Fdtn., Inc. and worked as a mechanic at Janesville Sand & Gravel, then as an electrician with
Lycon and The Rock County Health Care Center

TODD L. LONG

Todd Long, 57, of Milton, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Agrace Hospice after a long illness. Todd
was the co-founder of the Camden Playground in Janesville.
